PomoPlan - Data Deletion Instructions
PomoPlan is designed with a privacy-first, local-first architecture. We do not operate remote servers with user databases, nor do we require or maintain proprietary cloud user accounts. All your personal data (tasks, habits, focus sessions, and settings) is stored locally on your device.
How to Delete Your Local Data
For iOS (iPhone & iPad):
- In-App Reset: Open PomoPlan, navigate to Settings → Danger Zone → Reset to Defaults. This clears all app preferences, tasks, habits, and sessions.
- Full Device Sandbox Wipe: Uninstalling the PomoPlan app from your iOS device immediately and permanently deletes all local sandbox database files, documents, and cached data managed by the app.
For Android:
- Go to your device's Settings → Apps → PomoPlan
- Tap Storage & cache → Clear Storage (Clear Data)
- All local app database files and preferences will be permanently wiped.
- Alternatively, uninstalling PomoPlan removes all local application data.
Cloud Backup Data (Google Drive)
If you enabled the optional Google Drive backup feature, your encrypted backup archive is stored in your personal Google Drive under the PomoPlan folder. To permanently delete it:
- Open the Google Drive app or visit drive.google.com.
- Search for the PomoPlan folder (or locate
pomoplan_backup.json).
- Delete the folder and empty your Google Drive Trash.
- You can also revoke PomoPlan's access anytime at Google Account Permissions.
